Co-Packing Services

Launching your own alcoholic beverage can be both exciting and confusing at the same time.

There are many factors to take into consideration when introducing your alcoholic beverage to the market.  It's not as easy as creating a beverage and selling it.  There's paperwork and regulations that must be followed precisely to make sure your alcoholic beverage is compliant at the state and federal level.

This is where Big Brands comes in. Unlike most beverage consultants, we actually work in the industry every day of the week and have a firm grasp on the development of alcoholic beverages that are new to market or a relaunch of an existing brand. Cordial and Spirit Co-Packing

When we think about a cordial or liqueur, the thought of a sweet after dinner drink comes to mind. There are many types of cordials, including liqueurs that are flavored with coffee, orange, anise, almond, or raspberry. Cordials can be consumed straight or mixed into cocktails. Liqueurs are most often used, along with other spirits, mixers and signature cocktails.

When manufacturing a cordial, consider the flavors you want your cordial drink to have. A cordial formulation can have flavors of fruit, herbs, spices, or other ingredients. Maybe you want to mass produce a cordial recipe past down from your Italian grandma and make her famous Limoncello or maybe you want to manufacture a cordial to your existing alcoholic brand. Some popular alcoholic beverage formulations have ingredients that bring out popular flavors like chocolate, creme, coffee, herbs, floral notes, nutty taste, berries, citrus, fruity, and even spicy and savory flavors.

Some popular manufactured liqueurs are Baileys, Amaretto, Grand Marnier, and Kailua. And some interesting liqueurs like Nixta Licor de Elote (with flavor of heat and sweet corn) and Xtabentun is a Mexican honey anise liqueur and Ancho Reyes an ancho pepper liqueur.

Sugar Brew & Seltzer Co-Packing

A sugar brew is a type of alcoholic base made by fermenting sugar from sources like cane, beet, or corn, essentially creating a neutral alcohol through fermentation, while a "hard seltzer" is a carbonated beverage made with this sugar brew as its alcohol base, typically flavored with fruit and having a lower calorie count compared to traditional beers; essentially, a hard seltzer is an alcoholic drink made by adding flavoring to fermented sugar water.

White Claw is one of the most popular types of sugar brew, canned alcoholic beverages.

Sugar brews are naturally gluten free. They are lower in calories than other alcoholic beverages. When formulating a sugar brew, a sugar brew is colorless and is neutral in flavor. The sugar brew process creates a more neutral flavor so adding flavors to the base is as easier process than a malt beverage, which has a distinct taste.

Alcoholic Kombucha Co-Packing

We can copack hard kombucha ready to drink beverages. A hard kombucha is essentially a fermented tea that's been given an extra kick with alcohol. It's made by fermenting sweetened tea with a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY), much like regular kombucha, but the fermentation process is extended to allow the yeast to create alcohol.

The result is a fizzy, tangy beverage with an alcohol content similar to that of beer or cider.

We can co-pack hard kombucha beverages. Kombucha is a refreshing, invigorating fermented tea beverage that is known for its health benefits. Hard kombucha is made with tea, sugar, yeast, and sometimes flavorings. Hard kombucha can taste sour, sweet, and slightly vinegary.  Flavors can be added like ginger, hibiscus, pineapple, mint, elderberry, citrus, and other fruit flavors.

Hard kombucha is naturally gluten free, so having an alcoholic product that is gluten free is a great selling feature.

We do not brew Kombucha products. We blend Kombucha concentrates and copack Kombucha beverages.

Wine & OTSW Product Co-Packing

Flavored wines or other than standard wine (OTS) is a term used to describe wine that doesn't meet the standards for standard wine. OTS wines are also known as wine specialties.

An interested flavor profile of a OTS wine is Banana Wine, Pineapple Wine or Passionfruit Wine.

Some types of bottled other than standard wines are fruit wines made from fruits, flowers, or herbs, that are blended with different fruits.

There are also varieties of wines that we can copack.  Copacking of dessert wines could be sparkling dessert wines, lightly sweetened dessert wines, sweetened red wines, or fortified wines.  Fortified wines are made when grape brandy is added to a wine and can either be dry or sweet. The most common types of fortified wines are Madeira, Marsala, port, sherry, and vermouth. These still wines have been "fortified" with a distilled spirit such as brandy.

Flavored Malt Beverages

A malt beverage is made by the alcoholic fermentation of malted barley and hops. Some of the first malt beverage products in the 90's were Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Zima.

Malt liquor beverages tend to be fruitier and sweeter because of the fermentation process used which gives it a less bitter taste. The taste of Mountain Dew is available in a "hard" form with their Hard Mountain Dew, a malt flavored beverage. Bud Light has some flavored malt beverages - Bud Light Lime is  infused with natural lime flavor for a zesty, refreshing twist on the classic and  Bud Light Orange is brewed with real orange peels, delivering a citrusy, smooth taste.

Hard seltzers are categorized as a flavored malt beverage.
